Bathtub & Surface Coating
Limited Warranty

RETUBPRO LLC provides a limited warranty for coating services for the duration specified in your official quote or invoice — covering defects in workmanship and material under normal use.

What This Warranty Covers
🛡️
Workmanship & Material Defects

This warranty ensures that the applied coatings will not peel, blister, or fail due to workmanship or material defects when used and maintained according to the care instructions provided.

Exclusions
  • 🦠 Biological Growth — No warranty against mold, mildew, or fungus. These are environmental issues caused by moisture or improper cleaning, not coating defects.
  • ⚠️ Misuse or Neglect — Damage from abrasive cleaners, suction-cup mats, or harsh chemicals is not covered.
  • 💥 Impact Damage — Dropping objects, outside force, chips, or cracks are excluded.
  • 🔧 Plumbing or Structural Issues — Damage caused by leaks, structural movement, or plumbing failures is not covered.
  • ⏱️ Normal Wear & Tear — Expected surface aging over time.
  • 🧴 Surface Objects — Leaving soap, bottles, or items on the surface for long periods.
Surface Condition & Risk

Refinished surfaces are smooth when wet and can be slippery. Use of the surface is at the client's own risk. RETUBPRO LLC is not responsible for slips, falls, or injuries.

Clients are responsible for maintaining non-slip mats or safety accessories — provided they do not use suction-cup mats that can damage the coating.

Additional Notes
  1. 1Initial surface dust — Some dust may settle during curing. Regular, gentle cleaning removes it — no cause for concern.
  2. 2Drains and cleaners — If using liquid drain cleaners, remove standing water and pour directly into drain via funnel; avoid contact with surface.
  3. 3Wax caution — Wax may leave a slick residue. If necessary, automotive wax like Mirror Glaze #17 may perform better.
  4. 4Avoid heavy or sharp objects — impacts can chip or scratch the coating.
  5. 5Address faucet drips promptly — persistent moisture can erode the finish prematurely.
  6. 6Keep chemicals away — cosmetics, hair dyes, perfumes, and acid-based cleaners like grout or drain openers may stain or damage the surface.
  7. 7No rubber bath mats — these can react with the surface when wet. Use only non-stick or slip-resistant mats recommended for refinished surfaces.
  8. 8Get a shower caddy — keeps bottles and items off the surface entirely.
