Terms And Warranty

Limited Warranty:

We provide a limited warranty for refinished cast iron and steel bathtubs — 5 years for use in private residences and 2 years for rentals or other types of commercial use. This warranty covers issues such as peeling or loss of adhesion of the refinishing material, provided the fixture is used in a non-commercial setting.

This warranty will be void under the following conditions:
• Any chips, cracks, or damage caused by impact, sharp objects, or misuse.
• Staining or discoloration occurs due to chemicals, bleaches, rust, hair dyes, or abrasive cleaners.
• Cracks or separation due to movement in the underlying structure or shifting grout lines.
• Deterioration from lack of regular cleaning or maintenance.
• If the property’s use changes from residential to rental or commercial without prior notification.

If an issue arises that is covered by this warranty, ReTub.Pro will, at our discretion, do one of the following:
1. Repair the affected area,
2. Refinish the entire surface
3. Refund the cost of the original service.

Please note: This warranty does not cover caulk, plumbing, or shower doors. Travel fees may apply for jobs outside our standard service area. Any warranty claim must be reported within 72 hours of discovering the issue — failure to do so may void the warranty.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

Use only non-abrasive cleaners that are free of bleach, chlorine, or harsh chemicals.

Our standard refinishing color is off-white.

PLUMBING NOTICE:

Our technicians are not licensed plumbers. If they remove or adjust plumbing fixtures at your request, it is done as a courtesy, and any resulting damage is your responsibility. In some cases, we may need to remove or loosen handles, spouts, drain covers, or overflow plates. We are responsible for reinstalling those parts unless the plumbing is too old or deteriorated. If you are aware of any plumbing issues or age-related concerns, please inform the technician or estimator ahead of time so we can take proper precautions or leave the area untouched.

CURE TIME:

After refinishing is completed, the surface must cure for 24 hours. During this time, do not use the tub or allow water to come into contact with the refinished area.
